Saddam dies on gallows
BAGHDAD, Iraq - Saddam Hussein was hanged just before dawn Saturday, dramatically ending the life of the once-feared Iraqi dictator less than two months after his conviction for crimes against humanity.

Also hanged were Saddam's half-brother Barzan Ibrahim and Awad Hamed al-Bandar, the former chief justice of the Revolutionary Court.

President Bush's Statement on Execution of Saddam Hussein
In a written statement, President Bush said, "Today, Saddam Hussein was executed after receiving a fair trial -- the kind of justice he denied the victims of his brutal regime. ... Saddam Hussein’s execution comes at the end of a difficult year for the Iraqi people and for our troops. Bringing Saddam Hussein to justice will not end the violence in Iraq, but it is an important milestone on Iraq's course to becoming a democracy that can govern, sustain, and defend itself, and be an ally in the War on Terror."

Video E-mail Launches for Deployed Soldiers
Soldiers and families can now communicate by video e-mail through the Army Knowledge Online intranet portal. AKO video messaging allows all deployed active-duty, National Guard and Army Reserve soldiers to create video messages on a computer with a Web cam. The message is then stored on a server and sent to the recipient via a link. Upon opening an e-mail, the user clicks on the link to get streaming video and sound. Soldiers must follow the same Defense Department security measures used for standard e-mail and are not allowed to use Web cams in secure areas. Families with an AKO account can send video e-mails from home.

Air Force frequency jams garage door openers
Garage-door remote-control devices were recently knocked out of commission for miles around when a secretive Air Force facility in Colorado Springs, Colo., tested the radio frequency it plans to use in the event of a homeland-security threat.

It seems that the Air Force uses the same frequency that controls an estimated 50 million garage-door openers around the country.

And unless a slight adjustment can be made in the frequency, affected homeowners will have to shell out $250 each to have new units installed, according to an official with the Overhead Door Co. Article

VA Improves Waiting Times
Newly released data from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs indicates the agency has dramatically improved its performance in seeing new veterans. In the first part of 2006, nearly 18,000 veterans had to wait thirty days or longer to see a VA doctor for the first time. By October, that number had dropped to less than 4,000. Some of the biggest improvements have come in "VISN 20," an area of the country which includes most Idaho, as well as Alaska, Washington, Oregon, and one county each in Montana and California. There are over 7 million veterans enrolled in VA health care, and VA officials report that 96 percent are able to see a primary care doctor within 30 days. Awesome Rock On Hwy.25 in rural Iowa

I'm told that there is a huge rock near a gravel pit on Hwy.25 in rural Iowa. For generations, kids have painted slogans, names, and obscenities on this rock, changing its character many times. A few months back, the rock received its latest paint job, and since then it has been left completely undisturbed. It's quite an impressive sight. Be sure to scroll down and check out the multiple photos (all angles) of the rock. I thought the flag was draped over the rock, but it's not. It's actually painted on the rock too. Veterans Day November 11, 2006How do you spell Veterans Day?
You probably know that November 11 is the day America honors and thanks veterans for their military service. You may know that the holiday began as Armistice Day in recognition of the armistice that ended World War I on that date in 1918. You have probably seen the holiday listed as "Veterans Day," "Veteran's Day" and as "Veterans' Day." So, which is correct? It should be written Veterans Day. It does not include an apostrophe but does include an "s" at the end of "veterans" because it is not a day that "belongs" to veterans; it is a day for honoring all veterans. For more information on Veterans Day, visit the Veterans Day Frequently Asked Questions webpage.

Hanoi Jane's 1972 broadcasts on Radio Hanoi

Hanoi Jane
The Vietnam Veterans Legacy Foundation has just made available the first online collection of Jane Fonda's 1972 broadcasts on Radio Hanoi.
The 19-transcript collection provides fascinating reading for anyone interested in leftist propaganda techniques.

Here are some of Hanoi Jane's classic anti-military / anti U.S. rants:

To American POWs: "Brave heroes of the war would come back from Indochina and I was told that it is we who committed crimes, it is we who burned villages and massacred civilian people and raped the Vietnamese women. It is we who did it and we are sorry, and we want the Amer1can people to know what is being done in their names."
To American pilots: "The men who are ordering you to use these weapons are war criminals according to international law, and in, in the past, in Germany and in Japan, men who were guilty of these kind of crimes were tried and executed."

To South Vietnamese students: "We have understood that we have a common enemy -– U.S. imperialism. We have understood that we have a common struggle and that your victory will be the victory of the American people and all peace-loving people around the world."

On women in the U.S. military: "I heard horrifying stories about the treatment of women in the U.S. military. So many women said to me that one of the first things that happens to them when they enter the service is that they are taken to see the company psychiatrist and they are given a little lecture which is made very clear to them that they are there to service the men."

"Monsters and the Weak"

A poem about the valor and commitment on display everyday in Iraq and Afghanistan by our troops.

"Monsters and the Weak"
The sun beat like a hammer, not a cloud was in the sky.
The mid-day air ran thick with dust; my throat was parched and dry.

With microphone clutched tight in hand and cameraman in tow,
I ducked beneath a fallen roof, surprised to hear "stay low."

My eyes blinked several times before in shadow I could see,
the figure stretched across the rubble, steps away from me.

He wore a cloak of burlap strips, all shades of grey and brown,
that hung in tatters till he seemed to melt into the ground.

He never turned his head or took his eye from off the scope,
but pointed through the broken wall and down the rocky slope.

"About eight hundred yards," he said, his whispered words concise,
"beneath the baggy jacket he is wearing a device."

A chill ran up my spine despite the swelter of the heat,
"You think he's gonna set it off along the crowded street?"

The sniper gave a weary sigh and said "I wouldn't doubt it,"
"unless there's something this old gun and I can do about it."

A thunderclap, a tongue of flame, the still abruptly shattered;
while citizens that walked the street were just as quickly scattered.

Till only one remained, a body crumpled on the ground,
The threat to oh so many ended by a single round.

And yet the sniper had no cheer, no hint of any gloat,
instead he pulled a logbook out and quietly he wrote.

"Hey, I could put you on TV that shot was quite a story!"
But he surprised me once again -- "I got no wish for glory."

"Are you for real?" I asked in awe, "You don't want fame or credit?"
He looked at me with saddened eyes and said "you just don't get it."

"You see that shot-up length of wall, the one without a door?
before a mortar hit, it used to be a grocery store."

"But don't go thinking that to bomb a store is all that cruel,
the rubble just across the street -- it used to be a school.

The little kids played soccer in the field out by the road,"
His head hung low, "They never thought a car would just explode."

"As bad as all this is though, it could be a whole lot worse,"
He swallowed hard; the words came from his mouth just like a curse.

"Today the fight's on foreign land, on streets that aren't my own,"
"I'm here today 'cause if I fail, the next fight's back at home."

"And I won't let my Safeway burn, my neighbors dead inside,
don't wanna get a call from school that says my daughter died;

I pray that not a one of them will know the things I see,
nor have the work of terrorists etched in their memory."

"So you can keep your trophies and your fleeting bit of fame,
I don't care if I make the news, or if they speak my name."

He glanced toward the camera and his brow began to knot,
"If you're looking for a story, why not give this one a shot."

"Just tell the truth of what you see, without the slant or spin;
that most of us are OK and we're coming home again.

And why not tell our folks back home about the good we've done,
how when they see Americans, the kids come at a run."

You tell 'em what it means to folks here just to speak their mind,
without the fear that tyranny is just a step behind;

Describe the desert miles they walk in their first chance to vote,
or ask a soldier if he's proud, I'm sure you'll get a quote."

He turned and slid the rifle in a drag bag thickly padded,
then looked again with eyes of steel as quietly he added;

"And maybe just remind the few, if ill of us they speak,
that we are all that stands between the monsters and the weak.

The Search For America's World War I Veterans
Time is running out to find and recognize the last remaining veterans of "The Great War." The rolls of World War I veterans have declined so rapidly that the day is fast approaching when there will be one remaining, then none. The VA, with assistance from historians, state agencies and others, is keeping a roster of those veterans. Three years ago, there were about 250 remaining WWI American veterans. Yet, there may be other WWI veterans out there, perhaps in private nursing homes or in the care of family members, who have not been identified by VA. If you know of any WWI veterans in your area, please contact VA's Office of Public Affairs in Washington, DC, at opaweb@va.gov.

Video Catches Abbas Contradicting Commitment to Rice

PLO chairman Mahmoud AbbasBy Ezra HaLevi
PLO chairman Mahmoud Abbas was reported to have told US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice last week that his group would recognize Israel. In Arabic, however, Abbas broadcast a different message.

On the eve of his meeting with Rice, Abbas told Al-Arabiya satellite TV that although a Palestinian Authority government would have to accept the existence of the Israeli government for purposes of receiving funds and other logistical coordination, neither Hamas nor his own Fatah group were required to recognize the legitimacy or right to existence of the Jewish State.

The video clip, with subtitles, has been released by Palestinian Media Watch, an Israeli group that monitors the Arabic-language media. It can be viewed by clicking here.

The following is the text of the clip from Al-Arabiya [Dubai] and Palestinian TV, aired October 3, 2006:

Host: "But maybe Hamas is right that it does not want to recognize Israel."

Abbas: "Hamas is not required, Hamas is not required to recognize Israel... It is not required of Hamas, nor of Fatah, nor of the Popular Front to recognize Israel. Okay?"

"The PLO, in 1993, recognized Israel as Israel recognized the PLO. Every person has the right to say 'I do not recognize.' Okay? It's your right. It is the right of every organization. But the government which will be formed, and which will function opposite the Israelis on a daily basis... [every hour and perhaps every second, there will be contact between Palestinian ministers and Israeli ministers. And I ask] how can this government, or these ministers, not recognize their counterparts, and then solve people's problems?" [Abbas then gives an example of 500 million dollars in taxes intended for the Palestinians, but put on hold by Israelis]. "The Palestinian finance minister has to come to an agreement with the Israeli finance minister about the transfer of the money. So how can he make an agreement with him if he does not recognize him?

"So I do not demand of Hamas nor any other to recognize Israel. But from the government that works with Israelis in day to day life, yes."

Qatar's foreign minister, Sheikh Hamad bin Jassem al Thani, left Gaza Tuesday after failing to bridge gaps between Fatah and Hamas, according to Israel Radio. Thani said that the central unresolved issue was recognition of Israel.

Soldier's Funeral (Texas Style)

What follows is a message from Vicki Pierce about her nephew James' funeral(he was serving our country in Iraq):

"I'm back, it was certainly a quick trip, but I have to also say it was one of the most amazing experiences of my life. There is a lot to be said for growing up in a small town in Texas. The service itself was impressive with wonderful flowers and sprays, a portrait of James, his uniform and boots, his awards and ribbons. There was lots of military brass and an eloquent (though inappropriately longwinded) Baptist preacher. There were easily 1000 people at the service, filling the church sanctuary as well as the fellowship hall and spilling out into the parking lot.

However, the most incredible thing was what happened following the service on the way to the cemetery. We went to our cars and drove to the cemetery escorted by at least 10 police cars with lights flashing and some other emergency vehicles, with Texas Rangers handling traffic. Everyone on the road who was not in the procession, pulled over, got out of their cars, and stood silently and respectfully, some put their hands over their hearts.

When we turned off the highway suddenly there were teenage boys along both sides of the street about every 20 feet or so, all holding large American flags on long flag poles, and again with their hands on their hearts. We thought at first it was the Boy Scouts or 4H club or something, but it continued .... for two and a half miles. Hundreds of young people, standing silently on the side of the road with flags. At one point we passed an elementary school, and all the children were outside, shoulder to shoulder holding flags kindergartners, handicapped, teachers, staff, everyone. Some held signs of love and support. Then came teenage girls and younger boys, all holding flags. Then adults. Then families. All standing silently on the side of the road. No one spoke, not even the very young children.

The military presence..at least two generals, a fist full of colonels, and representatives from every branch of the service, plus the color guard which attended James, and some who served with him ... was very impressive and respectful, but the love and pride from this community who had lost one of their own was the most amazing thing I've ever been privileged to witness.

I've attached some pictures, some are blurry (we were moving), but you can get a small idea of what this was like. Thanks so much for all the prayers and support."
U.S. Army Spc. James M. Kiehl of Comfort, Texas, was killed in action in Iraq on 23 March 2003 when his convoy was attacked near al-Nasiriyah. James had been assigned to a group of mechanics, cooks, and supply clerks from the 507th Maintenance Company out of Fort Bliss, Texas, and his team was ambushed while on their way to repair computers on a Patriot missile launcher. The 22-year-old soldier left behind a wife who was due to give birth to the couple's first child within the next few weeks.

When the Army first listed James as missing in action, his friends in Comfort (a small Texas town of about 1,200 residents) created an improvised memorial to him which grew daily through additions and messages from friends, residents, and visitors. Since James had stated before he left for Iraq that he did not wish to be buried in a military cemetery, after his parents learned of his death they obtained a plot for him at the private Center Point Cemetery near their home.

On the day of James' funeral, much of the population of Comfort — many of them bearing U.S. flags — turned out to line the route of his funeral procession in a moving display of community support for a lost friend and a fallen soldier. The images displayed above were captured by James' 17-year-old cousin, Amy Pierce, and the description accompanying them was penned by his aunt, Vicki Pierce.

Boehner Won't Back Down

John BoehnerIn case you missed it the following is from rushlimbaugh.com
RUSH: John Boehner is not backing down from the furor he caused last week by questioning the real intent of the votes of several Democrats in the House of Representatives. He was on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace yesterday and got this question. "Congressman, do you take back your remarks?" Again, what Boehner had said was, "Sometimes, based on the votes they cast, you wonder whether they're more interested in the rights of the terrorists than in protecting the American people." And that's exactly what I've been saying today, frankly, in my own way. McCain and all these people are trying to protect terrorists and trying to protect their rights and trying to protect this, rather than protecting the American people. The purpose of this war is not to protect terrorists. And yet that's what's going on. Here was Boehner's reply.

BOEHNER: If you look at the USA Patriot Act we're trying to give the president tools to protect Americans. They fought against this. You look at the Hamdan decision that came down from the Supreme Court, Democrats were jubilant that the court was taking away the president's ability to do these military tribunals. And then when the leak came out on the terrorist surveillance program over at NSA, the Democrats were jubilant that this had been exposed and began to press the administration. So the point I'm making is that I think these programs have helped protect the American people, helped uncover terrorist plots before they happen, and they're necessary programs, and we're willing to give the president the tools that he needs to take on the terrorists, and many times they stand in the way and try to fight us giving the president these tools.

RUSH: No question about it, they do it for a host of reasons. They hate Bush, but they're also liberals, and they're obsessed with guilt, and they really think these people could be made to like us if we could just empower them economically and we get our military out of the world and so forth, and we would have no problems. They have such a perverted, convoluted view of reality. But he's exactly right, and he is not backing down. Hat tip today to John Boehner, the majority leader, House of Representatives, on the Republican side. Audio 2 minutes 8 seconds.

John sKerry, called from the Senate floor on his Senate Republicans to repudiate Boehner's remarks. (like that's going to happen.)
Liberals and RINO's just can't handle the truth.
Kerry should shut up and go away.

Bush Calls Lauer Out on His Democratic Spin

On Monday's Today, Matt Lauer treated Senator Hillary Clinton with kid gloves but on Tuesday's Today, President George W. Bush, once again, got the hostile treatment from Lauer. However Tuesday's airing of Lauer's long interview with the President taped on Friday, Bush stepped up, even calling Matt out for trying to "justify" the Democratic position. Lauer: "Do you know of any Democrats, that in your opinion, are trying to or would like to appease terrorists?" Bush: "I know Democrats who want to leave Iraq before the job is done and that would be a terrible mistake." Lauer: "But those Democrats don't see the war in Iraq as inseparable from the overall war on terror." Bush: "You can justify what they say I'm just telling you that if this country leaves Iraq before the job is done, if we abandon those 15 million people who said we want to live freely we will have given the enemy a tremendous victory." Any doubts where the MSM liberals stand on the war on terror?
Republican House leader, John Boehner:

Smith Act of 1940 / Treason

Speech that endangers American lives can be restricted in wartime, censorship in wartime is standard for all countries, including all democracies, and speech has led to trials – and convictions – for treason, Tokyo Rose and Axis Sally being two obvious examples. Smith Act of 1940

Being too pro-American is a bad thing... x Carter

"For [Al] Gore to make his anti-American remarks in Saudi Arabia is at least as bad as what Nazi sympathizers said in this country and abroad leading up to and during World War II. One definition of 'treason' is: Violation of allegiance toward one's country or sovereign, especially the betrayal of one's country by waging war against it or by consciously and purposely acting to aid its enemies. By any objective standard, Al Gore's remarks in Saudi Arabia appear to fit the definition." ~ Cal Thomas

United States Constitution Article III Section 3.
Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their enemies, giving them aid and comfort. No person shall be convicted of treason unless on the testimony of two witnesses to the same overt act, or on confession in open court.

Who cares if we give aid a comfort to the enemy?

Veteran GI BIll Payment Rates
Your GI Bill monthly payment rate is determined by two factors: your student status (full time, half time, or part time) and your duty status. Your school determines your student status. A Home of Their Own
Since it began in 1944, VA's loan guaranty program has helped some 18 million veterans achieve the American dream of homeownership. The Veterans Benefit Act of 2004 changed the maximum guaranty amount for certain loans in excess of $144,000 to an amount equal to 25 percent of the Freddie Mac conforming loan limit for a single family residence. This means that the maximum no-down-payment loan that a veteran can obtain will always be the same as the conventional conforming limit. program also administers the specially adapted housing program, which provides grants to veterans who have certain service-connected disabilities. For more information, visit the VA Home Loan Guaranty Services Webpage.
Special Outreach
The Special Outreach website provides additional information as required by the United States Congress to all veterans who live in the states of Connecticut, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, and Ohio where the average amount of VA disability compensation paid is lower than in other states. This information is important to all veterans no matter where they live. VA wants to be sure all veterans are aware of the VA disability benefits that are available and know how to apply for them. Iran Response Designed to Fool the Left
Designed to fool the gullable. The gullable, the American Democrats, the Democrat Party, the American left, the world left, and the diplomatic community, with the hope being that in the year 2008, a Democrat president exists in this country, and they then will be relatively confident that nobody will stop them. But they just can't trust Bush, and I guarantee you, they are afraid of him. He has created doubt and fear and uncertainty in their minds. They don't want to be bombed, I don't care what anybody says, they don't want to be hit. They're rattling all these war drums and rattling their sabers, but they don't want to be bombed, and they can't be sure that Bush won't do it. They have much more faith that will never happen with a Democrat in the White House, and that's what this response today is all about, nothing more complicated than that. Rush Audio

The UN IS UNDERMINING ISRAEL & THE UNITED STATES

Received via email from Move America Forward.
You have surely heard about the UN-imposed ceasefire that was drafted to end the military campaign by Israel against the terrorist group, Hezbollah, and it's base of operations in South Lebanon.

What you may not realize is that the United Nations has a horrific track record over the past 25 years in siding with terrorist organizations over the United States and Israel.

UN personnel and equipment have repeatedly been used to support the terrorists. In a shocking video clip, United Nations' ambulances are used to transport Palestinian terrorists who are engaged in a firefight with Israeli military personnel.

This is a MUST SEE video - look at the clear UN markings, including the UN's flag flying atop the ambulance: Watch the Video HERE.

In this video clip, Palestinian terrorists use an ambulance to smuggle suicide bombs into Israel, with the intent of killing and injuring innocent Israeli citizens in restaurants and stores.

Or you can watch this video clip, where terrorists use a UN ambulance to transport rockets to be used against Israel. Keep watching till the end when they load the ambulance up and drive away.

PM Olmert's office staffer says Israel's raid in Lebanon yesterday was not a violation of the ceasefire, but rather the required response to Hizbullah's ongoing violations of the ceasefire.

"The operation was necessary," the official in the Prime Minister's Office, said, "because Hizbullah is violating the ceasefire by smuggling in war materiel from Syria and Iran. It was a necessary operation, and it is good that we did it." Israel National News

Pace: Military Loss Impossible, But U.S. Will Is Vital for Success

Jim Garamone, American Forces Press Service
BAGHDAD, Aug. 12, 2006 – The will of the United States is the only question in whether the nation’s effort in Iraq and Afghanistan will succeed, the chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff said today.

“There is no way to militarily lose this war,” Marine Gen. Peter Pace said, speaking to reporters traveling with him while en route here. “The only way we can lose is if we decide that we just don’t want to do it. And if we decide that, that would not end the involvement, it would simply shift it from its current battlefield in Iraq and Afghanistan to our home.”

Pace said support for the war is a concern for him, “because the American military fights the wars that the nation wants us to fight. The American people’s will is a very important part of that,” he said. “I have faith in the American people’s ability to find the right boundaries.”

He said Americans need to remember the events of Sept. 11, 2001. The United States did not start the war, he said, but “if we were to come home, the war would simply follow us home. I believe the American people would understand that.”

The anti-American socialist liberal twits do not.
The Party Of Cut and RunPace, a Vietnam veteran, said the American people are still very supportive of servicemembers. He assures soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines he meets during trips of that fact.

Americans must understand that this is a long war, he said, and it is not of U.S. choosing. “Our walking away would not stop the enemy from following us home,” he said. Al Qaeda extremists have been very explicit in their aims, he noted; they want their ideology to triumph, and they want the freedoms and liberty personified by the United States to end.

“Americans are slow to anger, desirous of living peacefully, but also have a point that if you cross it, they raise up a strength that our enemies will never understand,” he said. “That strength was manifested on 9/11, and it will continue.”

The chairman said a dialogue about U.S. involvement in the war is important. “But there shouldn’t be one about whether we will defend ourselves,” he said. “As a nation, our enemies must know we will do this as long as it takes. We fought the Cold War for 50 years, we’ll fight this one for 50 years if we have to.”

Muslim Group Upset

CNS News
Muslim Group Upset by Bush's Use of 'Islamic Fascists'
A Muslim group criticized President Bush for saying on Thursday that America is “at war with Islamic fascists.” The Council on American-Islamic Relations said the president’s “hot button” terminology puts the name of Islam and the Muslim community at risk.

Bush called the attempted terrorist attack "a stark reminder that this nation is at war with Islamic fascists who will use any means to destroy those of us who love freedom, to hurt our nation."

Nihad Awad, executive director of CAIR, believes Bush should not even mention Islam when referring to the would-be terrorists.

What would you like them called?
They are Islam and they are terrorists.
They are willing to blow their selves up in order to kill thousands of Americans because they believe Allah has 40 virgins waiting for them on the other side. The only thing waiting for them is a seat in hell.

Anyone for Terrorist Profiling?
To ensure we Americans never offend anyone -- particularly fanatics intent on killing us -- law enforcement and security screeners are not allowed to "profile" people in public places or security checkpoints. However, they will continue to perform random searches of 80-year-old women, little kids, airline pilots with proper identification, Secret Service agents who are members of the President's security detail, 85-year-old congressmen with metal hips and even Medal of Honor recipients. But targeting Middle Eastern male Islamists between the ages 17 and 40 constitutes "ethnic profiling."

Reuters Doctoring Photos from Beirut?

Photograph shows blatant evidence of manipulation. Notice the repeating patterns in the smoke; this is almost certainly caused by using the Photoshop “clone” tool to add more smoke to the image.

It’s so incredibly obvious, it reminds me of the faked CBS memos. Smoke simply does not contain repeating symmetrical patterns like this, and you can see the repetition in both plumes of smoke. There’s really no question about it.

But it’s not only the plumes of smoke that were “enhanced.” There are also cloned buildings. littlegreenfootballs.com

"In Lebanon, most civilian casualties are not the product of Israeli overzealousness — they are the most vital, important, and intentional victories in Hezbollah's campaign. We are witnessing what is perhaps the most successful manipulation of civilian deaths by a terrorist organization to date, and while the reality of the situation is apparent to some observers, most members of the media are either oblivious to their own culpability in spreading propaganda for Hezbollah, or simply don't mind doing so. -- Michelle Malkin

Mom's a Recruit

The Arizona Daily Star Published: 07.29.2006
Mother of four follows son into boot camp
When Laurie-Ann Fuca told loved ones she was planning to become a soldier, some doubled over and laughed until their stomachs hurt.

They hooted that she'd never pass the physical at her age, that she'd wilt without luxuries like manicures and martinis.

No one's laughing now at the 41-year-old Tucson soccer mom, who is making history as the first Arizona woman to join the Army past her 40th birthday. Mom's A Recruit

Marine Names Murtha in Defamation Suit

John Murtha / Caricature by John CoxWashington Post
A Marine Corps sergeant under investigation in connection with the deaths of 24 Iraqi civilians in Haditha is accusing Rep. John P. Murtha of defaming him in public comments about the case. Lawyers for Frank D. Wuterich, 26, argue in a suit to be filed Wednesday in federal court that Murtha falsely accused Wuterich "of cold-blooded murder and war crimes."

Frankly, this is the actions of a traitor or a sellout. He deserves to be ridiculed, excoriated and frog-marched off Capitol Hill, then remanded to jail. No bail. Doesn’t this idiot know the type of damage this inflicts on the Marines? Or is it that he’s so intoxicated with the thought of becoming the next chairman of the House Armed Services Committee that he’ll say anything? - Gary Gross *Pennsylvanians Vote Diana Irey. *Vets4Irey

Don't kid yourself...

If you think that the Jihadists are all working somewhere "over there" and not engaged in trying to organize right here in America, think again. The Islamic-fascists are serious on-going threat to every man, woman and child in our country. Don't take my word for it...
