Democrats Outline 'Real Security' Plan

Democrat leaders will gather in Washington today, for what they describe as a "major event" -- the unveiling of their "comprehensive" plan to protect America.

Here they go again. Trying to convince the American people they care about national security. All Democrats care about is Democrats.

They call the plan "Real Security." But some Republicans call it an election-year ploy.

"Sound familiar? It should," said Sen. John Cornyn (R-Tex.) Writing for the National Review Online Wednesday, Cornyn said the Democrats are outlining policy items that the Bush administration and Republican Congress have implemented -- or that Democrats have blocked.
