Now, I would encourage the Drive-By Media to continue this advanced skepticism and curiosity about the goodness of our country and our mission, because it will only inspire rank-and-file Democrats to get on board with them.Any good news from Iraq is bad news for Democrats.

If he was fully alive and the troops did what you suggest the anti-American left and the MSM would have demanded congressional hearings for mistreatment of a prisoner.
If he stayed alive there would have been a long drawn out trial like Saddam Hussein who should have been shot in his spider hole in the first place.
